EA2 has been our salvation. They have filled the need for an alternative to the traditional educational paradigm. My son’s self esteem has flourished under their creativity and supportive guidance and he is now doing well in community college. They have helped him to get his best self back.

After talking to an educational consultant, I chose EA2 for my high school age daughter and it was a great choice. The traditional schools were not working out for several reasons and my daughter was ready to drop out of school. Fortunately, the teachers and staff at EA2 were very caring and supportive and my daughter thrived there – she actually looked forward to going to school! The one-on-one teaching method was the key to her success. Now that she has graduated from EA2, she wants to go to college. Thank you for providing a wonderful alternative school to the community!

My son was going to one of the top high schools in the area – he had suffered from some rather severe physical issues, he lost his self confidence, his direction, his goals and his friends. He was at a very tough spot in his life and EA2 gave him the ability to finish some classes. The environment was very nurturing and gave him the space to breathe.

My son is really improving on his writing! His last 2 papers were amazing. He loves working with his teacher at EA2! He told me last night that reading is helping him write!!! I was so excited to hear him put the two things together. It is starting to connect! Thank you so much for all of your support Ruth! EA2 has made a huge difference in our lives!

I have recommended EA2 to a number of friends whose kids have, for different reasons, hit the wall in conventional high school. For this, I keep hearing what a hero I am from other mothers. EA2 has made it possible for these kids to graduate from high school with a great GPA, a wonderful education, and a restored sense of dignity and sense of self. My son has enjoyed a personal connection to everyone at EA2. He came to EA2 feeling quite beaten down by frustrated school teachers and administrators who just didn’t have time for his discipline and academic issues. EA2 restored his faith in himself by treating him with unconditional respect and dignity. He has become such a lovely and responsible young man. He has a peace about him and a personal dignity that is noticed by everyone who has known him over the years. His relationships with his teachers and Tom O’Keeffe have been so good for him. We feel so lucky to have had this positive influence on both of our children.

Joseph was very up beat when he came out yesterday from seeing Lou. It was one of the first times he seemed happy with himself learning Spanish. Tell Lou THANK YOU!!

Our son arrived at EA2 at the age of 15, damaged by many years of school failure. His self esteem was fragile and he had no confidence in himself as a student. EA2 staff were kind and gentle and supportive to him. He could feel their belief in him and he responded by beginning to believe in himself. EA2 staff listened to our son talk not only about his schoolwork, but about his interests and his dreams. Our son has blossomed at EA2, and will soon earn a high school diploma – from EA2. EA2 has helped our son feel successful as a student and believe that he can be successful in life. What a gift. Thank you!

EA2 has made a huge difference with his attitude about learning and his confidence in himself. I will heartily recommend you to anyone who needs some alternative to the classroom as it exists today.

Thank you, Don and Sandy. John is extremely upbeat about his time at EA2 and his work with Sandy. He finds her most effective and helpful. He was especially pleased with himself as he conquered the Pythagorean Theorem this week and stated, ‘This is the first time I really feel smart.’ Bravo!

EA2 has been a Godsend for us. My son was overwhelmed by and couldn’t cope with a traditional high school. EA2 provided a positive, nurturing atmosphere where he felt accepted and safe. It allowed him to flourish as he matured enough to ease back into regular classes through Running Start at NSCC. It’s a fabulous alternative, and I don’t know what we would have done without it.

EA2 was there when my daughter was unable to finish up the year at her regular school due to an extended illness. She was able to complete the school year on time. The flexible schedule met her needs and was great for our family. My daughter is fully prepared to go on to the next grade with her peers because of the highly skilled and compassionate staff. I truly believe the administrators of this school are committed to the success of every student.

EA2 is the best! I love it and tell all my classmates and friends to go. If it wasn’t for EA2 I would not be caught up on credits and on track to graduate and play football at UW next year. Sports take so much time that it’s hard to stay on top of school work. EA2 has helped me with that and since it’s one-on-one it can be on my schedule and at my pace.

I don’t think he’s ever run toward school before!

Thank you for teaching my son. Biology came alive and math became reality on paper. You have helped to make a difference in his life and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Dear Ruth, I want to thank you for providing the option of EA2 to so many kids, like my son, who are seriously struggling through their adolescence. I don’t know where we would be without you!

Dear Ruth, thank you for attending the IEP meeting for my son yesterday. I will never be able to thank you and your staff enough for all of the help, support and care you have given my son. You have always been there for me too! You will be in our hearts forever!
